Reminder

Heading into year’s end, I often dread looking in the rearview mirror because I manage to convince myself that I never create anything of value. This year, I refused to believe those negative thoughts. I got back on the horse and took off at full gallop.

I explored the idea of making portraits in a wireframe style, just for kicks.

I was inspired by the minimalist work of fashion artists like Dhiman Gupta, and put my own spin on it.
I was commissioned to create a comic book cover for a friend who wanted to present this to her husband (and fellow comic book geek) depicting their family unit and a bunch of personal Easter eggs…
I created a series of prints featuring some luxury sports cars…
And created 2 more movie-themed posters for our “guys weekend” pub games events. (based on the Top Gun: Maverick & Jackass movie posters)
And more minimalist vector styled work, of some old-school wrestling personalities. The Hulkster and Macho Man.
And the usual Marvel characters… there’s no way I was going to avoid doing anything related to that…
It was a productive year. This doesn’t include all of the WIP projects I’m currently involved in, either. So I’m glad to say that I do feel like I’ve got it together once again and I am feeling extremely productive and thankful for all of the support these past few years. And now – back to work!
